Caritas Lok Kan School adjusts its structure annually to respond to environmental changes. The core executive units consist of four main departments: Academic Affairs, Student Support, School Development, and Logistics (General Office), all working towards the goal of "Joyful Spirit, Joyful Life, Joyful Learning."
- Management Model: Each department and team develops annual plans and strategies. Once approved by the Incorporated Management Committee (IMC), these are shared on a collaborative platform to enhance inter-departmental cooperation.
- Current Organization: This academic year includes 12 classes divided into five teaching groups(Courtesy Kindness, Love Grace, Mercy Justice Goodness, Peace Joy Wisdom and Harmony Faith). The hostel section consists of three houses (Oi, Lok and Kan) , supported by professional services from therapists, nurses, and social workers.
We adjust the school structure every year to respond to the changes of internal and external education environment. The executive units are mainly consist of academic department, student support (dormitory, Lohas Center and specialised service) and administrative support (care groups and school office) to assist the learning and development of our students. It is hoped to allow our students to master life skills and learn in a happy environment to prepare for the bright future.
Each year, each department and unit will prepare the annual development plan to explain their teaching or operation strategies and required sources with details. After being approved by Incorporated Management Committee of the school, they will upload the annual development plan to the collaborate platform for stakeholders. We hope to improve the collaboration between different departments and units through sharing teaching and operation information. In this academic year, there are three teaching groups which are Wo,Yan,Ping,Lai(和平禮恩), Shun, Oi(信愛)及Yan, Yi(仁義) total of 8 classes. There are three units in the dormitory including Oi(愛家), Lok(樂家)and Kan(勤家). For specialised service, it is consisted of therapists, nurses and social workers.
